Cookies used by eCAT2

eCAT2 only uses cookies to enhance the user experience.

The following cookies are used:

• JSESSIONID - used by the web server to identify requests as being part of the user's current session. Expires when you close your browser.
• PREVIOUS_AUTH_TYPE - used to store which authenticator the user logged in with previously so that this can be selected by default from the list. Expires one year after the user's last login.
• COOKIE_POLICY_ACCEPTED - used to store the fact that the use of cookies message has been shown to the user and will not be shown again. Expires one year after the cookie policy was accepted by the user.
